In March 1986, he was invited by the legendary TV host German Moreno to join the daily TV variety show “That’s Entertainment” as a host on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

In 2005, Jovit left the police force and lived in Spain, the United States, and New Zealand before returning to the Philippines in 2018.
